Additional information from John Bowman
Hyde moved from Annapolis to Washington D.C. and
lived in Georgetown. He was there when he died, and he was buried in a
cemetery called 'Old Presbyterian Burying Ground'. The cemetery fell
into neglect, and sometime - I think around 1890 but maybe later - I
have the date in Millville - it was abandoned as a cemetery and most of
the bodies were moved to other places. There was a record somewhere
that Thomas (#74) was moved to Oak Hill Cemetery; but I got their records,
and there is nothing to confirm that he was moved there. So far as I
know, nobody knows where Thomas (#74) is: if he was never moved, then he is
under a paved playground about a block off of Wisconsin Ave. in
Georgetown a few blocks from the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Wisc.
Ave. Used to be a very nice neighborhood.
